Brazilian shave...? Okay, so I don't know it that's what it's called, lol. I just wanted an.. eloquent way of putting it. So I hear all of these people these days saying its much cleaner and more comfortable to shave all the hair off, or most of it, "down there".
But the only thing I am wondering... and its rather embarrassing.. is what about the sensitive parts of the skin closer to the inside? Wouldn't it cut the skin open to shave there?
And I don't really want to use wax there either... or Nair... coz the idea of chemical burns frightens me, haha. |
Get a Venus Divine Razor Triple Blade--always use a good sharp blade.
Use some thick soap that lathers well.
Squat in the shower and TAKE YOUR TIME. Don't grip the razor with a soapy hand because you dont want it sliding around down there.
If you go slow and take your time all is well. It may take a few tries to perfect it but it is worth it!!!!
Also, keep it shaved down regularly to make the job easier. You should also get a small bikini area razor available at beauty supply stores just to touch up those tight areas LOL.
You could also opt for a beauty trimmer for your bikini area/eyebrows too. It's a tiny, tiny electric razor that runs on batteries that will get a real close cut-- close to the skin but wont cut you. They run about 15-20 bucks at a place like wal-mart or online. |
How long after a C section can I get a brazilian, or shave? I had a baby 9 months ago and am dying to get a brazilian or shave off, Is ok for me to go ahead and do it? will I harm my scar? or cause infection? |
| Go for it it can't do any harm |
Best results for a Brazilian shave? how do i get the best results possible for a brazilian shave?
please tell me everything possible so i can get the best results!
thanks, best answer gets ten points! |
| shaving gives you rashes, best thing is for you to get a wax. |
What to use for a smooth at-home brazilian/bikini shave? my ffriend said banana boat gel and use the noxzema bikini razors for the corners and stuff. what do u use or have any suggestions to minimize irritation and razor bumps. my area is very sensitive to regular shave cream! any ideas? |
| You should wax if you have the tolerance. If not, use baby oil. It will make a mess of your tub and it will probably make your razor dull and clogged with oil and stuff so dont even try to use it again. In fact try using one razor for half the job and a second for the other half. You will get bumps if it isnt sharp and cutting properly. |
How to properly shave without getting razor bumps and how to achieve the brazilian wax look by shaving I want to know, because I can't wax.I've been shaving for months now.I only do it when my period is near or when I just don't feel uncomfortable, probably three to two times a month.
My problem is that I tend to get little bumps and the hair grows back way too fast, then those little hairs are spikey lmao..
Anyways,I heard putting deodorant works for razor bumps, but every deodorant says in the back "Under arms only" so..i'm sorta skeptical.
Should I trim first then shave down wear the hair grows.
How exactly can I achieve the brazilian look like with the hair line in the middle but then completely shaved everywhere else by shaving? |
| Dont use veet or nair or any of those stinky hair removal creams. There nasty, and when I use them its just as if i shaved and it still grows back spiky. When I shave I like make sure I have been taking a hot bath for a while so the skin is like way ready to shave and I use conditioner, it makes it really smooth and I dont get any cuts at all, also I kind of shave in every direction, like I go over it again going the other way. And when Im dont if their are any hairs left, like under the skin or something I just pluck them out with tweezers. This works good with me. |
What is a Brazilian shave for down there? what is it and how do you do it to yourself? |
It's when you shave off all your pubic hair. How? VERY CAREFULLY...!!
It's like shaving your legs, so practice a bit first - the secret is in using a really soft moisturising foam so it doesn't sting, and then moisturise afterwards too. |
Laser hair removal Brazilian question - shave prior? I'm going for my first hair laser removal treatment (brazilian) on friday, and was asked to shave 2 days prior. Has anyone else who has had this done been asked to shave prior? |
I have had laser hair removal on both legs, not bikini, and I always had to shave prior to the treatment.
My first time I didn't shave and they had to do it, so best you do it yourself as you will shave much better than them !
Do you really want to do the whole thing?? Why not try a normal bikini line first and see how it goes??? |
How to do a "brazilian" shave? ok i really do mean a brazilian shave, not wax. im not totally comfortable w/ some one else waxing that and i dont wanna do it myself.
so any tips for shaving down there? how to keep from getting those little red bumps?
u see im a competitive swimmer and those suits show everything basically, so i need some serious help. THANK U!
P.S. it would be nice if u could kinda be specific haha |
Get a Venus Divine Razor Triple Blade--always use a good sharp blade.
Use some thick soap that lathers well (or special bikini shaving gel).
Squat in the shower and TAKE YOUR TIME. Don't grip the razor with a soapy hand because you dont want it sliding around down there.
If you go slow and take your time all is well. It may take a few tries to perfect it but it is worth it!!!!
After you're done shaving, and you're dried off, rub some Aloe Vera gel/lotion where you shaved, and that will help from getting those red bumps.
Also, keep it shaved down regularly, and it won't get irritated as much. You should also get a small bikini area razor available at beauty supply stores just to touch up those tight areas.
You could also opt for a beauty trimmer for your bikini area too. It's a tiny, tiny electric razor that runs on batteries that will get a real close cut-- close to the skin, but it won't cut you. They're about 10-15 dollars in drug stores.
Hope this helped, and good luck! :) |
Shave or get a Brazilian Wax down there? When I shave I always get ingrown hairs down there and it starts growing like in 2 days so I was thinking of getting a Brazilian wax. I was also wondering if that Veet or Nair stuff works too.
Do you get less ingrown hairs if you get a wax done?
I know it hurts but Im pretty pain tolerant (i used to tweeze down there sometimes) so its fine.
Which is worth it?
Do guys prefer it for it to be bare down there?
Thanks! |
I've had a Brazilian wax, shaved, and used veet down there.
The Brazilian wax is definitely the best out of all these options, but it is of course more expensive, more painful, and more time consuming; however, the pain only is there while getting it done (but if you can stand the pain of tweezing you can definitely stand the pain of waxing)! Plus it feels so great afterwards and is way more hygienic. Of course, it lasts much longer than the other two options as well. Getting a Brazilian is so worth the time, pain, and money!
Shaving always irritates my skin, causes bumps/ingrown hairs, and grows back so quickly. Veet doesn't irritate my skin (though it seems to for most as for as I can tell) but it never gets rid of all the hair so I end up having to shave anyway.
And yes, most guys prefer it to be bare down there, especially for particular situations if you get my drift . . . . |
Husband wants me to shave his pubic hair should I get a brazilian? My husband had told me he thinks that it would be sexy for me to get a brazilian and that it would make me feel even more stimulated/aroused when we have sex. I am afraid of red bumps, itchiness, hygiene and hair regrowth. Should I get a brazilian or not and is there any potential risks/problems with getting it done or should I just not shave my pubic area? |
Don't shave it, that will leave you with ingrown hairs, razor bumps, and it won't grow in comfortably. Brazilian wax is probably the best thing to do, smoother, lasts longer, and only feel uncomfortable for about 20 minutes. But if you just want to see what it feels like without pubic hair and aren't willing to pay for a brazilian then buy a bikini depilator from nair, they sell it at drugstores.
Don't try to wax it yourself! It's not fun or easy. |
