The BBC run the Learning Zone programmes in early morning - which is an ideal time for taping. See if you can find a friend who recorded them (they were on in January this year), and if they'll let you watch them.

Use the internet for some hard-research. Cut and paste each line of what you're looking for into Google - and read, and read and read.

Think of how these things affected people "at the front line" and even those in communities many miles away. How did these actions/events affect people at the time and subsequently through history.

Is anyone good with knowing lots of names of animated, fantasy, guy's movies?
This is a difficult question--- but I thought I'd try my luck and ask anyway!!! : )

I was searching the web and found an image of a fantasy, animated guy's movie, maybe in the same era of The Last Unicorn or Dark Crystal, and I was wondering what it was called. I'm not even sure if it is American made or foreign, though the image had no subtitles. Anyway, it shows three characters:

One is short and blue and looks kind of like a hobbit. It's got a green piece of hair : ) sticking out of a brown, leather hat and long thin ears covered in leather. It's got gold, round bells/balls hanging from it hat like a jester. Ha ha.. sorry, that's a weird description.

The character sitting next to it is a small, green bug-looking creature. It's might be like a really fat caterpillar??? It's got wide eyes and a big smile.

The last character is kind of cute. It's brown and is wearing medieval clothes and has ears sticking out beneath its cap. There's a big traveling bag with maps sticking out of it laying next to him.

For a guy's show the scenery is drawn amazing!!! There's trees with faces on them and a lake, hills, forests, and snowing mountains in the background. The lake has a mountain in the center.

Anyway, has anyone heard of this movie? And if you haven't, do you have any favorite animated guy's fantasy movies you'd be willing to post?

i don't know this movie, but My Neighbor Totoro is amazing and cute and funny. the newer movie Ponyo is really good as well. Both of them are guys movies but still gorgeous and loveable. They are both by Hayao Miyazaki but the english dub can be found pretty much anywhere. Ponyo however doesn't come out on dvd/bluray until march 2010. You should see them both!

So, I went to the movies yesterday, and during the previews there was this Coke/Walmart commercial. It was this guy (I think he had a red sweater on, and he had long brown hair), and he was singing at his holiday party. The song was about his friends, coworkers, family, ex girlfriends, etc, and he was walking around the house handing Coke to everyone there. I think some of the song lyrics include the words "enough to go 'round." At the end was a Coke symbol, and a Walmart logo. If you could help me find this, that would be great.

Well it seems that this is causing some stress for you...and also it seems that you are getting a bit ahead of yourself. You are a bit stressed for the future, but you really shouldn't be. I'm sure things now seem very unpredictable and you don't know who on earth you will end up with, and you don't want to settle, and you want someone who is compatible enough with you so you don't get a divorce.

You do have a lot of great qualities, so you shouldn't be so stressed out right now.Give it some time, and this doesn't mean dating many many people.

I am sure that life has something good in store becuase if you are good and compassionate to people, you will get that back in return. You will be paired up with someone who is like you.

One good place to meet people is actually online dating sites because you can find out a lot about people from their profile and you can meet sooo many people without having to actually go out. There is one place that I don't know if you have where you are, it's called Lava Life...but there are hundreds of sites out there like this. At first you can start out chatting when you have spare time and getting to know people even if it's not for something serious, even if it's just to get to know them as friends. You don't have to meet right away and you can always choose not to respond if you have lost interest in that person. It's a great way to meet people without having to go on 5 dates. You can find a lot about people after an hour or two of messaging them.

I totally know what you mean with the inlaw thing...but what if you meet someone who thinks like you and doesn't want inlaw drama either? There is no reason why you can't keep them at a distance and make the marriage about you two only. I don't want to be close to inlaws either or other family members because they cause problems if you see them all the time. Communicating them over email is ok, a couple of phone calls over the years, a restaurant dinner once a year, etc...even that seems too much. You don't have to have them in your life and it's your decision to politely keep them at a distance!

The best advice is don't settle and be patient! I am sure there is a kind and compassionate person out there for you who thinks the same way that you do.

I don;t know what your opinions are about guys, but in my experience, it is guys who cause most of the marriage difficulties rather than the inlaws...so if it's something that you want, you must prepare yourself for that. Because many people get a divorce over money, and the biggest financial expense for a couple is guys. And even if you don't want guys (since you mentioned you never wanted to get married before), I am sure you can find someone who doesn't want any either. Marriage doesn't have to be about inlaws, guys, extended family, etc., but about you two living in a happy relationship that doesn't get old.

I really think the right person will come because it happened to me and I never thought it would...deep down inside I knew I would find the perfect person, but I was getting impatient and was losing hope sometimes...

I know your list of things that you want in the other person may be very specific and you may find it hard to find someone like that, but give it some time and don't rush into things. Hold on to your morals and you will find her.
